The Desiccation of Wit

it's in the computer

I have realized that the law school lockers all carry small labels indicating that their steel bodies were manufactured in Youngstown, Ohio. I imagine some law professor years ago who got appointed to the Works Committee over his strident obligations chuckling to himself in his office as he ticked them off on the catalog order sheet.

1. The first thing that should come to mind when one thinks of 'Youngstown' is the highly successful Youngstown State Penguins football, winners of multiple successive Division I-AA championships in recent years. Which is in Ohio. Where there are no indigenous penguins.

2. The second thing that should come to mind is the 'zone of twilight', the miasma of inertial uncertainty, Justice Jackson's one shining moment of elegance. Frenchie, care to continue this discussion?

3. I still don't understand your post. At all. Unless you're implying that since Youngstown Steel returned from strike, all it has done has been to produce lockers, and perhaps law school lockers, from which one might, in theory, be locked out. I get it now. Maybe.

What is it with you people? Stop looking at the trees: see the forest. My point, which was small and thus short, was that it seemed particularly amusing to me that, of all the steel companies in the world (or even in the US), the ones who made the lockers for the law school should be the one for whom probably the Most Famous Case Ever About the Limits of Executive Power is named.
